1. Esplanade Roof Terrace

The Esplanade Roof Terrace is an amazing spot just to relax or have a takeaway meal with your loved ones. You'll be able to enjoy wonderful views of Marina Bay and the CBD from here. The best time to head to the roof terrace would be just before sunset. Photographers would normally hang around on the Esplanade Roof Terrace during this time to catch a magnificent shot of the “Golden Hour” behind Marina Bay’s city skyline. The night views of the city are also amazing to behold! The rooftop is accessible by elevator or escalator from Esplanade Mall.

2. Orchard Central Rooftop Garden

After a day of shopping and savouring the yummy halal food at Orchard Road, time to unwind and rest your weary feet at Orchard Central's rooftop garden! As the garden is located on the 11th and 12th storeys of Orchard Central, you'll also get to enjoy a panoramic view of Orchard here ?

3. Urban Farm @ Funan

You might be familiar with Funan Mall for its awesome shopping and eating options but did you know that there's an urban farm at its top floor too? The farm is operated by Edible Garden City which encourages the grow-your-own-food movement in Singapore. Check out the 18,000 sq ft Food Garden which has over 50 types of fruits and vegetables, from mint to laksa leaves, lemongrass and more. You can also find out how vegetables are produced and harvested!

4. Pinnacle@Duxton

Did you know that the Pinnacle@Duxton is the world's tallest public housing development? With its stunning architecture, this towering block of flats is impossible to miss as it sticks out amidst heritage shophouses in the area. Head up to the 50th floor to get on the skybridge and rooftop garden and you'll be greeted with a breathtaking view, ranging from the sea and Keppel Terminal all the way to the skyline of downtown Singapore ?

5. Marina Barrage

Marina Barrage is probably the most popular rooftop garden in Singapore! With the panoramic view of Singapore's CBD, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay and Singapore Flyer all at once, we can definitely see why it's so popular. With the wide green space here, you wouldn't want to pass up having a picnic overlooking the breathtaking view ? Besides hanging out with your loved ones, you can also fly a kite, catch the sunset and watch the city light up.

6. Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant (KMEDP)

Looking for somewhere less mainstream, head over to the Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant (KMEDP). Opened in September 2020, this is Singapore's fourth and newest desalination plant and there's a rooftop terrace that is open to public too. The best part is that it's easily accessible from the East Coast Park connector and Gardens by the Bay East!

7. Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Gallery, National Gallery Singapore

If you're feeling artsy, the National Gallery Singapore is the perfect spot for you to admire the biggest collection of modern and contemporary art in Southeast Asia. The 5th-floor houses the Ng Teng Fong Roof Garden Gallery which gives you a view of the Civic District. There are also plenty of greens here with water features for you to clear your mind. Occasionally, there are also exhibits at the roof garden too.
