Okay, before you exit the page because you read the word “cabin”, WAIT! Kasturi Cabin is unlike what you imagined — it’s so much more! The luxurious and spacious container home can comfortably accommodate up to six people. There are three rooms with queen size beds, comfy mattresses and air-conditioned. The interior is tastefully decorated. The living area is cosy with floor rugs and sofas, a low table perfect for board games and fitted with mood lighting.

The rooms, while simple, served their purpose since you’d be spending time outdoors anyway! The all-white bed give a luxurious feel. There was limited space for our luggage though, so we had to keep opening and closing our luggage. No complaints there, we still enjoyed our stay.

As for facilities, did we mention there’s a private pool? Since the cabin is surrounded by lush greenery and there’s no nearby accommodation, you truly have complete privacy! We loved dipping while enjoying the beautiful scenery here. You don’t even need music, just enjoy the sounds of wind and crickets — the sound of nature!

There is also BBQ facilities where you can enjoy cooking your own dinner! It’s all part of the going-back-to-nature! So, bring your own stock of food and seasonings and have fun BBQ-ing! The resort provides charcoal grills, charcoal, cooking and dining utensils so you don’t have to worry about lugging your whole kitchen.
In the morning, enjoy a local Malay breakfast spread (additional charges) of nasi lemak, curry puffs and delicious teh tarik.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. One night is definitely not enough to soak up the tranquillity here. We recommend you stay for at least two nights, this way you can also explore the area. There is a waterfall, Sungai Congkak, about a 10-minute drive that’s simply must visit!
