Japan, 〒600-8212 Kyoto, Shimogyo Ward, Shiokojicho, 518
Of all the hotels we stayed at in Japan, this was my favorite. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived early and decided to explore the city, and by the time we returned, they had already brought our suitcases to the room. I stayed here with my husband, and since we prefer having separate blankets, I called reception for an extra one—they delivered it to our room almost immediately. They also allowed us to store our luggage after checkout, which was very convenient. The hotel has an onsen, though we didn’t get a chance to try it. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily. It also had a hot tub, which was perfect for unwinding in the evenings after a long day of walking. The layout was well-designed, with a separate toilet and bath area. The hotel also provides pajamas, and near the reception, there’s a table stocked with various amenities for guests. The location was excellent—just a 4-minute walk from Kyoto Station. I highly recommend this hotel!
Very convenient location close to the main train station and other transportation stops. There are many restaurants and shops nearby at a walking distance. The staff is very helpful and kind. The hotel facilities are very modern and everything is spotless clean. The room size is average and everything is taking into consideration to maximize the available space. The beds are very comfortable. Another perk is at the top of the building, where there is a traditional onsen, with indoor and outdoor baths, the best way to relax after a day of work or sightseeing. We will choose it again for our next trip.
I’m from Taiwan and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station, making it super convenient. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the spacious public bath and large bathtub. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There’s a 7-Eleven right across the street, and both FamilyMart and Lawson are just around the corner. Also, don’t miss the nearby Hiro Yakiniku — the grilled meat was absolutely delicious!
