The hotel was always clean and spotless, the room was a good size for 2 people, and the bed was comfy. We also enjoyed the lounge on the first floor, where we would have coffee every morning. Staff was helpful and attentive. There are a few launderette nearby and plenty of convenience stores. The bathroom was provided with shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. It was a bit far from the city centre (30/40mins walk to Gion or Nishiki Market) but on the other hand was quite close to Kyoto Station and there are plenty of buses nearby that can take you anywhere. It was also a really good value for money! We were sad to leave as we enjoyed our stay a lot and now doubt, if in Kyoto again in the future, we will stay here again. Okini ?‍♂️

I had a great stay at this Japanese hotel. It's clean, comfortable, and well-located. The Japanese woman who manages it is very kind and helpful, even though she doesn’t speak English. Definitely a nice place to stay!

Great place for staying in Kyoto. Especially if you aprreciate quiet and small.amount of people around woth no raolways under your window. Friendly and helpful staff, all supplies you may need and etc., everything was great. Nearest bus or rail station in ~ 10 mins walking. Rooms are small but smart and cosy and sooo comfortable. It was so pleasant to returning back to the room and relax after all day walking.
