This place is awesome. The curry is so delicious! The staff is also super friendly and fast. WARNING: Be careful when choosing the spice level for your curry. My tolerance is far above average and I ordered 4/10 ?️ thinking it would be a safe bet. However it turned out to be dangerously close to my limit ?. I was sweating pretty hard. Still beyond delicious though!! I thought it was interesting that every table had a pitcher of ice water by default, but the reason behind it was quite clear once I began eating. A great experience, will definitely stop by again!
I had the chicken katsu vegetable curry which was delicious! Our server was very attentive and friendly. He even gave the children at the table next to ours a book to keep them entertained! Highly recommend and would eat there again!
The best curry house I have been and tried so far. I can tell how this curry house gets successful in the business because of the good service from their servers. They were very friendly and the best! I love how this restaurant is just in front of our hotel and 4 mins away from Kyoto Station.
As we arrived we had to wait for about 10 min until we were able to be seated. You order your food via tablet. It didn’t took long until we got our food, the service was also very nice and the curry was also good. Unfortunately the naan bread was already sold out.
Waited a few minutes on a Tuesday evening to get one seat, food took about 10 mins once ordered on an iPad. Must admit this was one of the best curries I had in my life. Tried their limited option (fried minced pork patty with leek or something like that) with rice. Based on the reviews, I kept the spiciness on default. Definitely do not go higher than 5 as others mentioned here. Price is very affordable (JPY 1200-1300 per normal portion and a drink), and you can even customise your portion size, which was a nice touch. Staff was super friendly, atmosphere very cosy, although, there was a group of loud English-speaking tourists, but I guess that's unfortunately a norm these days. Definitely go and try their dishes if you want to switch from all the sushi and ramen. Can recommend.
