I had the best falafel sandwich of my life today at Gold Falafel. The falafel were huge, perfectly cooked, lightly crisp on the outside, fluffy, flavorful, and hot on the inside. Served with fresh greens, pieces of eggplant, and lightly browned sweet potato. I chose tahini dressing and fresh local pickles. The pita was fresh and warm, as warm as the welcome when we walked in the door.
I went with the pita falafel, which came with some fresh and some roasted veggies, and all tied together with a mint yogurt dressing and I believe some yogurt and or tahini inside. To this you get to add some house sauces, so I went with the tahini+ aurora sauce combo. Hands down the best falafel I've ever eaten. Crispy and crunchy exterure with a juicy, lucious interior that was EXPLODING with flavor, and the mint yogurt dressing tying the pita together was phenomenal! The veggies, sauces and falafel were the perfect match for the delicious pita. The sandwich was massive and felt heavy in the hand - I thought I'd need to take about half of it home! - but it was so good I ended up devouring the entire thing plus half a simit which was also fantasitic (the other half of the simit I did take home!). The owner was wonderful and a real pleasure to talk to, and the place itself was small, quiet and quaint. Ten out of ten, would go again!
Great falafel, great hummus, great drinks, great deserts, great people. Amazing food and spot to eat. Vegan hummus and falafel.
Everything i wanted to find in this meal was was way above my expectations ! The falafels are full of Flavours but all the ingrédients are filled with greatness and quality. They re geniusly assembled to make the most conforting food i had in long Time ! Can only highly recommend, also the owner is an adorable and friendly person. Thank you so much !
So so so good! Loved the wraps so much! I am a big fan of falafel in general and I think this restaurant’s falafel is top notch! The lady who runs this place is also so nice and the whole vibe is just cute and cozy. It’s a bit far from Osaka city center but super worth the trip for!
