Don't know where to start describing this awesome experience. We found this place almost by chance and, my oh my, what a nice gem hides in this small vintage homey restaurant. And the owner that also happens to be the chef is very kind and talkative and the food he prepares is super tasty and the prices very affordable. The vegan/vegetarian platter is only 700¥ and then you can choose from various toppings/ side dishes. The plum drink is divine. We're already looking forward to come back soon again :)

Had a lovely experience having the vegan set meal. The owner was very amiable and we had a nice conversation as there were no other guests. Though it sits roughly ~15, he is running the operation solo and so nominally restricts parties to 3 or fewer, although I'd wager that he'd accommodate a larger party if there weren't other customers and you were willing to be patient. The ambiance appears random but is a relic of the shop having been a secondhand shop for decades before the owner pivoted to serving food. My entire meal cost 1200 yen for the set meal, an addon of garlic tempura, and a drink.

Great authentic food, the dudes a legend and a joy to be around. Great vegan food as well, he let us play the super Nintendo he had as a young man and told us stories of his travels.

Had a beautiful vegetarian set meal with added garlic tempura and the chicken yakisoba. Both were amazing traditional Japanese dishes. The chef came and cooked the yakisoba at the table for us!

Provably the best Japanese vegan meal I've had in Japan. The set vegan menu is everything you want it to be - homemade, fresh, tasty, super varied, very filling - for such a good price. The place is so cozy, and the owner Shingo is extremely kind, friendly, talkative and interesting. Shout-out to his wife for the delicious homemade food! They also sell lovely homemade fruit jams. Would (and will) come back to Osaka just to eat here again!
