There was some special events during my walk to Pier 2. Was a nice and beautiful day. It's always good to take your friends or family to visit this pier. There is always something to see and something to do here. I highly recommend this place for people who just came to Kaohsiung and also for friends who just came to visit. It's close to MRT station and also the light railroad train. It's worth the time and during the day and also at night there are many things to see and do. There are also many small stalls and food places you can visit and eat around so it's a good half day activity if you really want and have time to slowly walk the pier area.

Lots of cool art to look at. We didn't plan the day but happened upon a weekend local artist market as well which had lots of cool stuff. The spinning bridge was very impressive too but no ships went pass today.

Very beautiful area. Where you can see different structures and modern art. There are also various exhibitions.

Great ambience! Very stylish and beautiful ocean views. A must go if you're in the city
