I recommend visiting before sunset because I like the night view rather than the day. There is also a Sunny Hill cafe, so it is a good place to visit if you continue to tour. Tram and sea views are good, so it is a must-visit place when visiting Kaohsiung. It is connected to Chijin Island, so tourists who want to visit the beach should go sightseeing from the afternoon to the evening. Visiting before and after hot summer can be too hot outdoors, so I don't recommend it. It seems that the time of visit around November-February is the best.

Possibly my favorite place in Kaohsiung so far! ? Came here on a Saturday afternoon during the week of the Lunar New Year. Way too crowded for my liking, but I didn't mind because of how interesting the sights are. Spent my entire afternoon here, so I'm guessing this place is best enjoyed when you are not in a rush to be somewhere else :) A walk from the Music Center to these warehouses is quite a lovely experience, but make sure to wear comfy shoes ?? I would definitely come back!

Visited the Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, and it’s definitely a spot to enjoy at a relaxed pace. Located in Yancheng District. LRT makes it easy to get around, and you can use your EasyCard for convenience. Comfy shoes and an umbrella are a must—there’s lots of walking and open areas. Once old warehouses, the space is now with shops, souvenir stalls, and eye-catching art.

Most interesting thing I did in Kaoshiong. Lovely place to walk around late PM or evening, especially sunset. Lots of food options in the area too!
