Location is excellent! As you sleep you can hear the waves crash! Good location to many beach bars - recommend the "Cascade bar" which is a small wooden shack over looking the sea, beers are 800 rupees for 600ml. Room is basic and has a fan to cool you down. Breakfast is very filling Host is very kind and speaks English. You can do long term rents here for a very good deal. We stayed for 1 night only and where happy with it.

The owners were really friendly and kind! They let me book a stay here in the middle of the night after I needed to leave a different hostel. They woke up and prepared a room for me after midnight. Very kind of them.

Super kind hosts, delicious healthy breakfast and best location, close to the beach and in a quiet area of Tangalle. The room and bathroom were spotless and had fan and mosquito net. We strongly recommend this place if you want to experience an authentic stay in Sri Lanka.

Great experience for me. I dont see the roughness of the ocean as a reason to take stars of the accommodation. I mean how can they sway the ocean?! The beach is actually beautiful with a swing just across the road. Yes waves are big but there are places to swim. And if youre not lazy you can walk the extra 200m. Breakfast was exceptional! So filling. Not feeling hungry for the rest of the day. The coconut honey is delicious. Fruit plate with each breakfast. I could eat there for the rest of my life. The couple seemed friendly to me and not fake at all. Basic but clean room. I hate AC so the fan was great for me and i felt so chilled all night. No mosquito bites whatsoever. Water temperature perfect i mean who wants hot shower in 40 degrees outside temperature? I really appreciated the water scraper in the wet room. Not all places provide that.

Such a nice place to stay at. The owners are lovely and can help you with anything :) (scooter rental, bus schedule …) The breakfast is incredible and freshly made- you get a variety of dishes, fruit (from their own garden), hoppers, roti, coconut honey … We had a lovely time, also since is was only a minute walk to the beach, and would definitely recommend and also come back :)) Thank you for making us feel so welcomed and at home :) Ps.: we even extended our stay spontaneously which was no problem at all
