Without a doubt the best food we have had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! Rio & all of the team are so friendly, personable, and hospitable. They went above and beyond to serve our favorite curries, and prepared us dishes that we have never tried before. I especially enjoyed how intimate and calmingthe experience was.? If I'm ever in Tangalle again, or Sri Lanka for that matter, you will find me here !!

Exceptional Vegan Dining Experience with a Sri Lankan Twist! We had the pleasure of enjoying the Sri Lanka Curry Buffet, and it was absolutely exquisite! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and lovingly prepared. Just make sure to book in advance, as everything is freshly made and perfectly tailored to the number of guests. Asith and his family go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their warmth and hospitality are unmatched, creating a truly memorable dining experience. On top of that, Asith also runs a highly successful surf school – a testament to his dedication and passion for his craft. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking amazing vegan food and a welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to visit again!

We reached out to Rio on Instagram to ask if it was possible to eat there. You can join a few people from the surf school in his buffet room and enjoy the incredibly delicious buffet. Just make sure to call or message him in advance. The vegan options are fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back, and we ended up going there for dinner three nights in a row. A heartfelt recommendation! Keep going Rio! ?

We were happy to have found this place. It felt like a family was cooking for you and the taste and variety of the vegan dishes was amazing, especially the fact that it finally wasn’t spicy like all the other Sri Lankan dishes - that was so enjoyable! Rio is super lovely and passionate about what he is doing, we had a really great time. We went there three nights in a row because we’ve been excited what tasty vegan dish would come next time. You have to call him before dropping in so that he can arrange everything.

Great restaurant here in Tangalle! We had already taken a few surf lessons with Asith, and he got us excited about his restaurant. And it definitely didn't disappoint! We were dining with a lovely group, the food was delicious, and great conversations developed. An evening to remember. I highly recommend going here!
