If you're in Galle you must visit it at least once and walk around the place. Here are some historically valuable places. It has a different vibe to the outside of Galle. If you're in to that foreign vibe, this is must visit. The building and everything is quite different. If you're planning to eat inside the Fort, you should be willing to pay a lot for everything. There was a fair, it was nice. You can have drinks and explore the place. Must visit it at night as well.

The view from the ramparts at sunset was breathtaking. We also enjoyed browsing the local craft shops and stopping for a refreshing drink at one of the quaint cafes inside the fort. Overall, the Galle Dutch Fort is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and anyone looking to experience the charm of Sri Lanka’s colonial past.
