The hotel is ok. Location is perfect. The coffee is not offered 24/7 but only during the day. This is a bit inconvenient if you need to get up very early to go see some attractions. No water bottles in the room.

Great location across the street from the Kyoto train station. Rooms are comfortable. Staff is friendly. You can store your bags in lockers and with chains with your own private combination lock which made it nice for us to check in early and then check out go to the city before we left

Location is awesome. Building can be seen from west exit of train station. Staff are top notch. The bath is amazing. I don't see it as 3-star hotel as staff professionalism and amenities are top notch.
