552-1 Higashishiokojicho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, 600-8216, Japan
Really good location. Just a 2 minute walk from Kyoto Station. 7eleven is across the road. Starbucks, McDonald’s and Burger King are around the corner (if you want a chain) A food hall is nearby. Check in is through a machine, usual in Japan. Service was great, the reception has luggage hold service. The rooms are great size for Japan, and have the usual amenities. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom is great. We also had breakfast and it is very good with so many options. Was a great stay, only downside is the 10am checkout, that is a bit too early.
A nice, but simple hotel that was literally a 3 minute walk to the station. The room itself and the bathroom were VERY small (which made it a little tight for 3 people) but basically we only used the room for sleep, so it worked fine for us. It was clean and whisper quiet. If we returned to Kyoto, although we were happy with our stay, we would probably also investigate other hotels before committing to staying there again.
Great hotel option if you are visiting Kyoto for a few days. We stayed in this hotel for four nights. The hotel was really quiet and being close to the station it's very easy to move around Kyoto and get anywhere in the city very fast. Of course, the room was very clean as expected. The hotel doesn't make the room every day unless requested, but they offer towel changes every day. The bed was super comfortable. Probably among the most comfortable beds I've slept in, in a hotel. In conclusion I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone who visits Kyoto.
Modern, new facility, the room is a bit small but functional. The king size bed was comfortable. The public bath had a luxurious feel and I enjoyed it very much. It's right next to the train station and 30min walking to a more lively area with restaurants and bars. We couldn't figure out how to get our room cleaned.... Received new towels and coffee every day though, in a bag in front of the door.
