If you’re staying in Kyoto for just a night, like myself, or longer than this hotel is an amazing spot. You are a short walk from Kyoto station as well as walking through a door to 7 eleven. Yes, just a door, as this hotel literally has a 7 eleven connected to it so you have easy access to all the egg and strawberry sandwiches you’re craving. Moreover, if you’re planning to do one of the many available tours - it appears that quite a few meet in front of Tullys Coffee which is a part of the Avanti mall. This location is less than a 5 minute walk away. You’re allowed to drop off luggage before check in and they will even hold on to it after checkout! The staff were extremely kind and attentive. Room size was excellent in terms of what you should expect in Japanese standards.

Excellent location—just steps away from Kyoto Station, with tons of restaurants nearby and a shopping mall close by as well. The hotel breakfast was on the pricier side, but luckily there are plenty of great and affordable breakfast options inside the station. There’s a 7-11 conveniently located right downstairs for any quick needs. Self-service check-in was a little tricky, but manageable. They also offer luggage storage for an additional fee. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kyoto!

The hotel is well located, very close to the Shinkansen station where you can take any metro to anywhere, and has easy access with luggage. Super quiet place, comfortable and clean. There’s is an excelleny 7/11 right next to it where we had breakfast pretty much everyday. Rooms were clean and a bit bigger than the average for Japan, but don’t expect anything super big. The rooms have a small hanging rack for clothes you need to wash but can’t dry. The hotel has washing machines however they were full most of the times, so we had try several times before being able to wash. Thanks for accommodating us. I recommend this place and would come back.

Location couldn’t be better as a base for exploring Kyoto, with the train station right across the street (lots of good food options!). Room was typical Japanese size and very clean. The pajama options were especially comfy and convenient. Buffet breakfast had lots of options although the tables filled up quickly, so best to go a little early. It was easy to check our bags for storage on the day we checked out to leave a bit more time for sightseeing. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when in Kyoto.

Great service! The staff are super nice and respectful. We had fresh towels delivered daily. Room clean up was available daily, but if you don’t want cleanup, you can alert the cleaners by putting the no clean up etc sign on your door. Laundry was also on the floor, not sure if every floor has one but I had the laundry service few doors down from my room. Breakfast is also an option when you book your room and I had breakfast a few times, was impressed with the food quality and the quick replenishing of any food item that had run out. You can access 7-eleven from the hotel directly using your room access. Kyoto station is about 7 minutes walk from here as well. Great stay.
