Japan, 〒600-8216 Kyoto, Shimogyo Ward, Higashishiokojicho, 579-16, Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto, 1階
Hotel is nice and clean. Location is just right in front of the train station. Room size is bigger than other normal hotels. Price is affordable. Highly recommend. This is the best hotel that I stayed during my Japan trip. I will come back to stay here again if have a chance.
If you just want an affordable room that's close to the transit lines. I'd recommend this place. The rooms are super compact, but it served it's purpose of just being for showering and sleeping. They have a nice lounge area with an awesome tea dispenser and seating. The first floor has a cafe and also an inner izakaya which has a morning buffet that I'd definitely recommend. The Kyoto tower is also next door so you can also check out their stores and the observatory deck.
We had an amazing time! The room was good value for money, staff were very friendly in check in had no dramas with our stay, the staff gave us fresh towels every day as we got the no room service option. We will certainly be back soon! Thanks for everything and your hospitality!
Nice little hotel in a central location right next to the Kyoto station and the bus terminals. The rooms are surprisingly spacious with two seats and a small table, besides the queen size bed and the bathroom. Unfortunately, we did not have any view of the city, because the windows's glass is "blurry". The most appealing factors are definitely the affordability and convenience factors, as there was also an Izakaya restaurant on the first floor, closing at midnight and providing a reasonably priced breakfast menu. Recommended, if you are not looking for a fancy place, but rather keep it simple and convenient.
Room was small, clean, and felt newly renovated. Bed was comfy! AC was superb. Location is absolutely perfect! Lots of delicious food spots and shopping nearby.
