Perfect luxury location in Tangalle! Really comfortable beds, and all staff are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious! The swimming pool was amazing on a hot day. So lovely to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach

This hotel is the best - lovely bright air conditioned rooms, great location right on the beach, excellent swimming pool. Everything is super clean, with friendly attentive staff always on hand. Every night the staff will setup your room for the evening; making the bed, bringing down the mosquito net, lighting a citronella candle. Of course, they also make over the room in the morning too. Breakfast had good options and was delicious, dinner was amazing too. All up, this by far the best hotel we stayed at in our trip around Sri Lanka…highly recommended if you’re looking for a bit of luxury.

We had an amazing time at Coco Tangalle - the staff is super friendly, food was amazing and the private balcony and outdoor bathroom in our room made this place truly special. When we had to leave very early for our transfer to Ella / Safari they prepared a little breakfast to go bag for us which we really appreciated. Definitely would come back here!

Lovely small and intimate boutique hotel just 5 minutes outside of Tangalle. Couldn’t fault the staff or service. The hotel keeps its old character but with all the necessary modcons e.g aircon. The pool is amazing and breakfast was also great. We had dinner one night which was also good. Would say there are limited options for food close to the hotel but Hiri is only 25 mins away if you want more spots.

I had a wonderful experience at Coco Tangalle. I stayed for 7 nights in the Thambili room. It has an excellent view over the pool and gardens and out to the ocean. It was very clean, nicely appointed and suited the beach-y style of the hotel and surrounds. The breakfast is very tasty with multiple options. I had dinner twice which was delicious and well priced for a set menu. Lastly, the staff and service were excellent. I felt very well cared for. They were all very attentive, kind and friendly. Management helped arrange transport, gave food recommendations, and even negotiate tuk tuks for me! I can’t fault anything, I’d definitely go back.
