Full of flavour, home-cooked vegan food. The jackfruit burger and the mushroom burger were both delicious and the portions are generous. Very well seasoned sautéed water spinach, which I could eat every day. Cold coconuts were a bonus!

After seeing glowing reviews online, we decided to give the Jackfruit Vegan Cafe a try - and it did not disappoint! The restaurant has a cozy, laid-back vibe with a cool aesthetic, and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered some beers, a jackfruit burger, and a chickpea curry. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The roti that came with the chickpea curry was a standout - probably one of the best we’ve had so far. The flavors were spot on, and the portions were satisfying. The only minor drawback was the burger’s side dish. The chips didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the meal; fries would have been a better choice. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic option if you’re in Hiriketiya. With tasty food, fair prices, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a place we’d definitely recommend!

I have been extremely surprised to find a 100% vegan restaurant in Hiri… and I have to admit I haven’t been disappointed at all! A bit pricey but it is what it is with vegan foods … however serves are really generous and yummy. I had a Buddha bowl, fueled with cooked and raw veggies so tasty! The dressings for each were also lovely! Then I had the chocolate mousse… I would say better than more Paris or Australian restaurants I dined in! Well done guys! Also like they do specials. Highly recommended!
