This is an awesome high end, upmarket "kedai roti", aka bread shop. The bread and pastries are fresh and tasty, it prepared by their chef in the shop.The restaurant is small and cozy. They have good coffee and simple menu for quick meal such as sandwiches etc.

A good place to hangout in between meetings and quite discussion. Service is fast and friendly. The place is clean including the toilets.

This old-timer appears to have changed hands and although the interiors and furnishings are the same, the vibes have similarly changed (or is it just us?)

We arrived at 1pm on a Saturday and found the place virtually empty. Quite strange. The pastry and baked goods options were somewhat limited too, not like before.

We ordered three different sandwiches, three different drinks and two different desserts. Quite palatable, even tasty and well put together but seemed to lack verve. The coffees on the other hand weren’t the best and were average at most.

With so many new and exciting cafes emerging into the market, TBS seems to have lost its allure. Maybe it’s time for a rebranding and a menu update.

Live the pasties and bread here. Coffee (Americano) is superb!

It’s a self service cafe with smiling and helpful staff. Ambience is nice - moody and cool. Solid wooden chairs table tops and high chairs give it a rustic feel.

Excellent scones and pastries. The scones are really good and tasty. You can eat them on their own without cream and jam. Remember to get the staff to heat up the scones and pastries, they just taste better and you get better texture with some heat. Coffee is strong and flavourful too.
