A fantastic spot for breakfast! Was there 2 days in a row - super busy on both days. The chef works super fast creating delicious breakfast/brunch dishes. Loose English breakfast tea is a super nice touch as so often tea is treated less diligently than coffee (which was also delicious). Very friendly team too - well done to you all!
Having travelled through Japan for the past 10 days, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed local delicacies and cuisine, but we we’re looking for something a little closer to home today … and we struck gold with this cute little joint! The avo and egg on toast was sublime, the poached egg just perfect! Great coffee too, and a cool vibe to start our day off perfectly!
The breakfast plate was beautifully presented and delicious. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and served on a thick slice of rustic bread with fresh greens. The plate also included a generous serving of grilled vegetables like broccoli, zucchini, and mushrooms, as well as hearty sausage and thick cut ham. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned, making for a satisfying and balanced meal.
I really enjoyed my experience here, from the friendliness of the owner to the vibe to the food. There was a short wait, but the staff was accommodating. I ordered the smashed avocado toast, and it was excellent. The coffee was good too. It definitely has that Melbourne coffee scene vibe. Staff were friendly and service fast. Worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a nice brunch.
I liked the atmosphere a lot, and they have the sweetest staff. The food was very aesthetically pleasing, and it did for sure live up to its name. However, there were a couple of things missing on our plates, and it is a bit on the pricy side. I would recommend this for a refreshing breakfast/lunch :)
