One of the most famous tourist spot in the middle of osaka, this place can be easliy reached if you are usimg osaka metro. In high season this place may get very crowded and bit hard to walk.

Enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the Tombori Riverwalk in Dōtonbori during a trip to Osaka in early September 2024. So much to see and eat!

Strolling along the Tonbori River Walk was a highlight of my Osaka trip! The energy of Dotonbori was palpable even on this riverside walkway. As evening approached, the neon lights began to glow and reflected spectacularly on the water. You can take a Tonbori river cruise and experienced a fantastic 20-minute ride, gliding under bridges and seeing the iconic Glico Running Man from a unique perspective. The central location makes it easy to explore the surrounding areas of Dotonbori. Whether for a relaxing stroll or a fun cruise, the Tonbori River Walk is an unmissable experience in Osaka!

Very busy and lively area. River cruises available. Lots of people at all hours. Great shopping nearby with lots of bars and small restaurants and very lively vibe. Definitely worth a visit with friends or partner. Very close to Dotonbori and ShinSaiBashi-Suji shopping street.

Very fun atmosphere at night with all the lights and shops but very very crowded on a Friday night. As soon as you leave the neonlight area and the shopping street a bit it quiets down immediately
