KAITO, LG.09, Level LG, Glo Damansara, 699, Jalan Damansara, 60000 Kuala Lumpur
If you would like to experience Japanese cuisine that is full of bursts of flavor, exquisite freshness and taste; with the subtle flair of a beautiful plating, Kaito is where you should dine. All the dishes we ordered had its own unique presentation both in design and the art of cooking Japanese food. The restaurant’s atmosphere was comfortable and the stone ware serving plates kept the food warm and lent an authentic touch to the table setting. The Oysters and fresh fish are air flown In twice a week from Japan. Just have a look at the pictures which tell their own stories of each dishes uniqueness. Trust me this is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have had the pleasure of visiting in KL. Service is an impeccable 5 star rating and take my advice don’t ask to change any of the ingredients in the prepared food, the Chef does not allow any changes at all, and rightfully so. The portions are perfect as this allows you to savor more then 1 dish and your tastebuds will explode with delight , I promise you. Congratulations Kaito for a memorable dining experience. We will surely dine here again Updates Dined at Kaito’s again this week. Realized they adjust the menu every three months and add new designer Japanese dishes so you won’t ever get bored with the variety of dishes they create and serve. Have added pictures of the private dining rooms too. Great if you want to entertain privately! I brought a couple of friends along and they thoroughly enjoyed their evening, and we even met the young head Chef who is dedicated to his amazing craft of creating Japanese food with creativity and fresh new ideas! Wonderful.
Ate dinner here with friends. Personally, despite the more medium/moderate portions you get given the meal, the amount of preparation and care that goes into the meals doesn't go unnoticed. I ordered the Unagi Don (RM68) and the Tori Karaage appetiser (RM28) while tasting everyone else's dish here and there. The Karaage was sublime given the quality of it; crispy, crunchy, juicy chicken with a side of mayo and lemon to give it some zest. The Unagi Don was flavourful, an umami bomb and an overall balanced dish. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a more higher-ish budget Japanese meal with quality ingredients.
Pleasantly surprised by the freshness and flavour of the food here. We started with the Salmon Aburi Salad with the special in-house dressing. Moved on to the mains: sashimi, kaito fried rice, tempura udon, kaito don and specially prepared salmon rice. We finished with the macha bar to share among us. Happy tummies indeed. The executive chef was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. Will definitely come again. Halal certified ??
I booked a table to celebrate a special occasion for my family. The food was excellent. The food presentation was on point, the taste was perfect. We had a plate of sashimi (Take 128), Salmon salad, udon, salmon cappacio and desserts. Overall service was fast.
