Singapore's Eastern Round Island Route just opened on the 22nd of January and we're all super excited! ? The continuous 150km park connector is only part of the 360km island-wide network or recreational routes that are in store for Singaporeans to enjoy. Consisting of park connectors and trails, Singaporeans can enjoy hiking,cycling and just enjoying the nature-based ecological sights and sounds that surround the route. ?Running through quite a few halal food hot spots like Jalan Kayu, Changi Village and even the Singapore River, HHWT brings you some of the best halal eateries you can find along the Eastern Round Island Route. 1. Daya Izakaya - Jalan Kayu

For the uninitiated, izakayas are a small Japanese drinking establishment with food served tapas-style. They are usually casual eateries with small wooden tables and chairs and a place where the Japanese would hang out after work. Though they usually serve alcohol, Daya Izakaya is a Muslim-owned establishment so rest assured, you can immerse yourself in the izakaya vibes with halal Japanese food! 2. Steak Me - Jalan Kayu

If you're here, you have to try their Wagyu Ribeye or Milk Fed Veal Rack. Filled with flavour, this is a meal you won't regret. 3. Thohirah - Jalan Kayu

This famous late-night hangout spot is situated along Jalan Kayu and is just the right place to stop if you're craving local favourites like Thosai, Nasi Lemak or Murtabak!

5. Changi Village Hawker Centre - Changi Beach Park

There are a handful of Muslim-owned stalls here and the most famous ones are known for their Satay and Nasi Lemak! Known for some of the most affordable North and South Indian food in Singapore, this is definitely one place to drop by if you're looking for a quick meal. 10. Marine Cove - East Coast Park
