Here we are! With news that Singapore is exiting Phase Two (Heightened Alert) on 14 June as planned, we can finally enjoy the remainder of the month going out with our loved ones. Especially if your kids are starting to get bored at home during the school holidays (Who could blame them? ?) Whether your Phase 3 plan looks like dining in at eateries or visiting the mall, there are a lot more exciting options to choose from. That's why we've curated a list of 10fun things to do in Singapore you should check out this June 2021!

1. Virtual Realms: Videogames Transformed

If you've been spending your time at home playing video games, here's where you can truly immerse yourself in the real realm. At the ArtScience Museum, there's always a new exhibition to explore! Set to make its global premiere tomorrow (12 June), the Virtual Realms: Videogames Transformed exhibition lets you step into the videogame world with a series of playful and immersive installations. Expect six different themes done by game developers like KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS (DEATH STRANDING) and Enhance (RezInfinite and Tetris Effect), partnered with a different media artist or studio each!

2. STAR WARS Identities: The Exhibition

Fans of Star Wars™ can get up close to about 200 artefacts from the original Star Wars™ films! You can marvel at the original movie props, artworks, costumes and even the models of the star ships, the Millennium Falcon and the Star Destroyer from Star Wars™.  Learn about the famous characters like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Chewbacca and more through their identities. Find out what forces shape you at this exhibition! ?

3. Future World: Where Art Meets Science

Witness the combination of art, science, magic and metaphor through digital interactive installations! This is the ArtScience Museum's permanent exhibition so you'll be able to head over to this new world any time you'd like. Discover and interact with their features describing narratives of a City In a Garden, Sanctuary, Park and Space. It's also the chance to take some cool pictures for the Instagram feed if you haven't done so in a while! ?

4. New World's End

Remember The New World Amusement Park near Geylang Road in Singapore? If you've never been told of this now-defunct attraction, here's your chance to explore it. Immerse in OH! Open House's first ever permanent art experience and new tour The New World's End that lets you travel through time in art and audio. Follow the story of two lovebirds and discover the rich history of Jalan Besar. They're only open in July, but you can grab your tickets now on their website!

5. Around The World In Eighty Days

If you're a book lover, visit this book analysis workshop which teaches you the journey and work behind writing a book!
