Here's some good news to brighten up the end of the week! Singapore has just announced that groups of 5 people who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to dine in, starting 10 Aug. If you've been bummed out about Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), there's now light at the end of the tunnel 🤗

According to The Straits Times, under the new rules, those who are not vaccinated will only be allowed to join groups of 5 if they have a valid negative pre-event test (PET) results. Those who have recovered from Covid-19 will also be able to join the group. If you're planning to catch up with friends or have a meal with your family from 10 Aug onwards, we've rounded up these lists of halal eateries you can go for a scrumptious meal: However, if you haven't been fully vaccinated, don't worry! Everyone will be able to dine-in at hawker centres and coffee shops in groups of 2, regardless of their vaccination status. For those of you who aren't fully vaccinated and are planning to have small gatherings with loved ones, good news! The group size for social gatherings will be increased from 2 to 5 and you can also receive up to 5 visitors to your home. Check out some of these deliveries you can still order for a stay-home feast: As the situation progresses, event sizes and capacity limits for attractions and malls will also be increased on 19 Aug.
