Urban Retreat Onsen Spa: First Onsen Spa In Malaysia
Step into Urban Retreat Onsen Spa and be greeted by beautiful parquet flooring, rattan furniture and comfortable sofas. Inspired by the traditional wabi-sabi ambience displayed in most Japanese onsen bathhouses, it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for spa-goers. The spa offers a 45-minute Onsen Escape, and your day begins by filling up a form to personalise your onsen session.
First, choose your onsen salt, ranging from Iyashi for Healing (perfect after intense work, sports, hiking or gym), Zen for Calmness (great for post-work stress relief) and Kirei for Beauty (moisturise and brighten your skin).
Next, choose your preferred temperature between 40°C (recommended for first-timers) and 45°C (great for seasoned onsen goer).
Once you've made your selection, the staff will take you to a private room complete with a 200-year-old hinoki pine tub and a bath that is personalised to your preferences. In the next 45 minutes, your body will benefit from the mineral-rich crystalline powders that are sourced from the popular onsen springs in Japan.
The moment your session is completed, you'll step out of this Japanese hot spring feeling fresh and rejuvenated.
