This is a VERY beautiful park. When you come here, be very glad you have this opportunity. Since the Japanese occupation at the turn of the century, they set up a military camp here, at the exclusion of the locals. Then when the Allied forces and US forces came in, they had used the military facilities that were readily available, which meant local Koreans couldn't step onto what technically is their own land until it was finally returned to them decades later.

Nice tranquil family park! There were few ponds with lilies and some baby koi fish. Few sculptures, some playgrounds for kids. Nice walking trails with flowers and plants, chestnut trees, pine trees, and pavilions. It is on the east side of the National Museum of Korea (350-400 meters of Mirror Pond). It's totally worth a visit for peace and tranquil feel. Highly recommended to stroll around and get lost in nature. Have a picnic ?

I stumbled across this park while on a walk and I've got to say it's a favorite. I had a sense of calm while there. The red clay barefoot walk felt great as well as the regular path, well maintained.

This park is just a few minutes walking distance from the National Museum of Korea and is definitely worth a visit if you're planning to go to the museum. The area is lined with lush trees and a couple of ponds with benches where you can unwind while tuning in to the humming of birds and flowing water. Most locals take their pups here for a walk and have a nice picnic.
