No. 31, Alley 401, Lane 150, Section 5, Xinyi Rd, Xinyi District, Taipei City, Taiwan 110
Take the stairs up the hill... Amazing nature with lots of butterflies and birds and beautiful plants. Dschungel freeling in walking distance to the city. Along the way there are many opportunities to have a seat or to enjoy a picnic. Also there is a free toilet on the way. I recommend you to walk up in the morning as it's more silent, less crowded and not so hot. Here you have an amazing view over the city while sitting in the Nature
Very nice views from the 2nd observation deck. Unfortunately today was a little cloudy, would have been much nicer with clearer skies. It’s about 200m elevation with many steps (some on the steeper side).
Though many claim this to be an easy trail, I still find it a challenging one. But that could possibly be due to my personal fitness level. I would still encourage visitors to hike this as an awesome view awaits you. I feel proud that I made it. Tiring but definitely worth it. Just follow the signs along the way from Xiangshan Station and you will be able to find it. Along the way, you will pass by a local park.
?Bring cash, the places at the base only take cash? 600+ steps going up & coming back down! Be prepared with water and a snack if needed. We were able to go and up with 1 water bottle. On a hot day, bring cold water and cooling wipes! The views of the city are gorgeous! There is a peak, its the skinny pole!
There were about 600 steps to the highest point, but it was worth it. The view was incredibly beautiful, and I truly enjoyed it. Approximately 20 to % of the stairs were high, making the ascent more difficult, but the rest were short and easy.
