I waited for about an hour, but honestly, it was absolutely worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—your tea gets refilled the moment it runs low. The place was spotless; they even clean the tables with special disinfectant for each guest. The flavor of the food, the balance and generosity of the fillings—everything was just perfect. I had one of the best noodles I’ve ever tasted in my life. Please don’t be discouraged by the line—it’s definitely worth the wait! ??
This was an amazing treat! We booked through a tour site and chose a set meal. The food was delicious and the service impeccable! There are cards on the tables that explain to you how best to enjoy the dumplings which is great for first timers. This place did not disappoint and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a truly authentic dumpling experience!
I love DTF! I have been to the California one and all the ones in Taipei. The flavors are consistent across all the restaurants and the service is always good, the restaurant is always clean, and if you have luggage they can store it for you before you fly. It is my go to happy place! They don't take reservations and everyone has to be there to be seated. We were 6 and only waited 30 min when we went in around 3-3:30pm. Go during off peak hours and you won't have to wait so long.
The most Ding Tai Fung I’ve ever tried with so good taste and professional services (even better than in Thailand and Malaysia). I forgot taking photo of a kinda fried rice with meat. So good taste with soft pork meat that must try!
I waited 45 minutes for my seating and I was lucky as later I heard that people waited to 3 hours! I followed the robot into this monstrous restaurant for my seating and the food was really incredible, well worth the wait. I had soy beans sprouts, sticky rice with chicken and mushroom stuffing, prawn wonton soup, bitter melon and pork ribs soup - I just wished my stomach allowed for more food to try. This place is a must when you land in Taipei.
