A perfect museum and a highly recommended visit if you have some time. I am not the biggest fan of Harry Potter myself but this studio tour is still one of the highlights of Tokyo for me. It is not overly crowded like other destinations because they have specific time slots with limited number of people. The props were very well kept and interesting. For folks who have been to one in London, it is quite similar with some notable differences. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this and it was worth the ticket price.

WONDERFUL experience!! If you’re a Harry Potter fan, this place is a must-visit. It exceeded my expectations—I spent 5 to 6 hours inside! It was crowded on the weekend, but still manageable. As for the restaurant, there was a 30–40 minute wait on the weekend. It’s a bit pricey, but the food is delicious. Some souvenirs sold at the shop on Platform 9 3/4 aren’t available at the main entrance shop, so don’t hesitate to grab them when you see them! Buying ticket in advance is highly recommended.

The craftsmanship is outstanding, and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the franchise. What stood out most was the interactive elements. Whether it was trying out a wand duel, mixing potions, or riding a broomstick via green screen, it made the experience incredibly immersive. The audio guides (available in multiple languages) added great context and behind-the-scenes stories that enriched the visit. The café and gift shop were also well themed, offering Butterbeer, chocolate frogs, and all kinds of exclusive merchandise. Prices are a bit high, but that’s expected with attractions like this. Overall, it’s a must-visit for Harry Potter fans and a wonderful introduction for newcomers. I spent nearly four hours there and still felt like I could have stayed longer. It's an unforgettable journey into the making of one of the most beloved franchises in the world. Highly recommended for families, fans, and anyone who still believes in a little magic.

Studio Tour Tokyo was absolutely incredible — a dream come true for any Harry Potter fan! From the moment you step through the entrance, you’re completely immersed in the Wizarding World, surrounded by iconic sets, props, and costumes that bring the magic to life. The attention to detail is breathtaking. Walking through the Great Hall, strolling down Diagon Alley, visiting the Forbidden Forest, and exploring the Hogwarts Express made us feel like we had stepped straight into the films. Every room and exhibit is packed with fascinating behind-the-scenes stories and hands-on experiences — from riding a broomstick to learning wand choreography. The experience is very well organized, allowing you to take your time and soak in every detail without feeling rushed. Staff throughout the studio were fantastic — incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the magic they’re helping to create. The café and gift shops were also highlights, offering fun themed treats (try the Butterbeer!) and exclusive merchandise you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re visiting Tokyo and are even a little bit of a Harry Potter fan, this Studio Tour is an absolute must-do. It's not just a tour — it’s a full magical adventure that will stay with you long after you leave. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!

Wonderful experience!!! Highly recommend if you're a HP fan. So many props and costumes, explanations in English and Japanese. Free interactive exhibits, except the broom riding, that needs to be purchased, not allowed to record with your phone. We spent 4 hours in total, but could have definitely been there longer if we stopped to read everything. Unfortunately, we purchased our robe too late, and they were not able to personalize it since it was almost closing time. Tickets purchased for the evening have a discount. Parking must be paid in advance.
