Japan, 〒164-0001 Tokyo, Nakano City, Nakano, 5 Chome−52−15 2階
Very cute vegetarian Taiwanese restaurant hidden in the craziness that is the Nakano Broadway. The lady chef it’s been there for around 30 years. It’s simple taiwanese comfort food. Nothing fancy but 5 stars for its authentic humbleness. When we went for lunch we could not select anything the menu, there was only one option. All seem to revolve around a vegan meat preparation. Very good! Also she does not speak english, but should be fine for most simple interactions.
Great vegetarian restaurant run by a very interesting Taiwanese owner, she didn't speak English but we managed to get by with our broken Japanese and it was a great experience! The food was tasty and we were just served whatever was the special of the day without choice really but it was good. Definitely worth going to given the otherwise limited options in the area!
Super sweet lady, the food tasts great and the price is good. There is only one lunch menu avaliable at each day. There are 8 counter seats. Would definitely recommend :)
The owner/chef is from Taiwan and she is passionate about teaching how to cook and eat in order to stay healthy! She has been running this restaurant for 35 years. I love her foods that taste like home cooking. Price is reasonable, volume maybe not enough for some people but you can ask for more rice. She offers eggs so its not completely vegan but you can ask her to eliminate eggs.
This is the place to go if you're looking for an allums-free, home-cooked meal. Though the food looks simple, it’s made with love and gives you a homely feeling This shop has been around for more than 50years, one of the first alliums free vegetarian in Tokyo.
