9-31 Tenjincho, Kita Ward, Okayama, 700-0814, Japan
Very rare museum focusing orient culture. So much information. Mostly described in Japanese
A well focused museum specialising in the history of the area better known as the Middle East. The replica of the code of Hammurabi itself is worth a trip itself. The cafe on the 2nd floor befits any respectable museum.
An extremely good special exhibition of ancient glass when we visited. Worth the 1,500 yen admission cost.
Incredible museum for a city like Okayama. Really makes anthropological history accessible. They have some great artifacts. The entrance fee is very convenient dirt cheap and their little café upstairs is a nice stop.
