78 Lytton Rd, East Brisbane QLD 4169, Australia
A small, but pretty park with a children's designated play area & amenities block. Great views of the Brisbane river & a ferry terminal with a carpark. There's a war memorial in a corner facing the busy road. Plenty of huge shady trees & picnic tables with beautiful river views
My favorite park so far! Beautiful river and Story Bridge view, lots of shed of trees, big playground, picnic tables, bbq area. The best part is the night lights all over the trees that make the park special
This place is absolutely beautiful! The park is amazing, and there's a picnic area surrounded by trees adorned with lights. It's the perfect spot to sit, relax, or go for a walk. If you're looking to spend some peaceful, relaxing time, this place is ideal.
Just got back from the park and thought I'd share my experience. Me and my other half spent about 2 hours here, and it was pretty nice. The playground is showing its age but still does the job for the kids. Found some great spots for photos, especially near the pond area. One tip though - bring mosquito repellent if you're planning to stay till dusk. The benches are comfy, but some are in direct sunlight, so maybe pack a hat. The toilets were clean, which is always a plus!
Mowbray Park is a must-visit if you're in east Brisbane. It's clean, spacious, and full of charm. The children’s playground is fantastic—safe and fun for little ones to burn off energy. Tourists will love the vintage caravan coffee shop just up from the playground —great coffee with a quirky, local feel. A lovely spot to sit and take in the views. Evenings are especially beautiful with fairy lights twinkling through the trees. Add in public toilets and barbecue areas, and it’s ideal for a family day out or a relaxing stroll. A peaceful, welcoming park that's easy to enjoy for all ages.
