Scout Place, 200 River Terrace, Kangaroo Point QLD 4169, Australia
Best spot to see the sunset. There are BBQ and seating areas around as well. Must do place when you're visiting Brisbane.
New Year Hack ✨️ Arrive 30 mins before without a car or a 30-60 mins earlier and leave car around 15-20 mins walking distance to the view. With that, you don't need to keep waiting all day to watch the fireworks ??

Such a great view of the city! Nice spot to relax and take photos.
I recently chose Kangaroo Point Cliffs Lookout for my daughter’s 8th birthday party and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The park’s natural beauty and panoramic views of Brisbane made the event special for both kids and adults. There are picnic tables and electric BBQs, perfect for preparing simple meals on-site, though we opted to bring catering from local cafes nearby. The playground at Captain Burke Park, just a short walk away, kept the children happily entertained. Accessibility is well thought-out — there’s designated wheelchair parking and easy ramps to the lookout platform, which was essential for some guests. The location is convenient with ample parking and public transport options.
