Just returned from our honeymoon to Bali and was eager to share a review about our cooking experience with Khrisna and his wife. From the moment we entered their home we were treated like family. Being able to experience traditional Balinese cooking just the two of us and them in their actual home made this experience so memorable and felt authentic. This was by far our top moment from our honeymoon. We spent the whole afternoon learning about their culture and felt completely relaxed and at ease. They were such a lovely couple to be around and we spent the afternoon chatting and laughing. The food we were able to produce was delicious and probably the best food we had in Bali (even though all the food we had in Bali was fantastic) Thank you both again for your hospitality and the memories you have helped to create for us . I was visiting Krishna and Santi after a ceremony at the Water Temple nearby. They are lovely and spending time with them is great fun. Krishna and I went floating in a river close to the rice patties at dawn which runs directly through the jungle and is an absolute secret spot since Krishna knows the whereabouts from his childhood. It was great fun and I can highly recommend to everyone who wants to either experience an authentic balinese cooking session with Yanti or some crazy adventure exploring spots unknown to Google Maps with Krishna. I wish all blessings to Yanti, Krishna and their two sons! Hope to be back again soon!

What a warm beautiful welcome from Khrisna, Yanti and their two sons and family. On arrival, we were served delicious traditional bitesize sweets in parcels and cool refreshments. We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Khrisna's family home, meeting his family, learning about the culture, customs, traditions, stories and more. His eldest son also kindly took us on a cycling tour, talking us through as we gently rode around the back roads through villages, rice fields, monkey forest and so forth. Yanti very patiently along with her family coached us through the ingredients and the techniques as we prepared an amazing delicious Balinese luncheon - fit for a King. We also had the opportunity to be dressed in a traditional Balinese way. I can't recommend this experience enough. Thank you again and we wish you, Khrisna and family all the best. My experience with Bali Trek was nothing short of magical. We embarked on a river float adventure with a diverse group of international travelers, and it was an absolute delight. The river float was a zen-like experience that allowed us to truly connect with nature. As the gentle current guided us along, it was like being in a state of effortless surrender, a perfect blend of tranquility and exhilaration. During the river floating experience, Krishna and Henzo are attentive, and ensured that our safety was a top priority. We ended the trip with an amazing local lunch cooked by Krishna’s family. The first time I visited Indonesia I thought local food was not for me, but this time the lunch changed my mind! This was more than just a trek; it was an immersive experience that brought us closer to Bali’s natural beauty and to each other.
