1. Watch the Chingay Parade 2024: Blossom

Join Singapore's vibrant Chingay Parade 2024, a spectacle of culture and unity under this year's theme, "Blossom." Witness the magic on 23 & 24 February at the F1 Pit and marvel at over 3,500 performers, seventeen community floats and Singapore's longest interactive floor projection. Colourful costumes, dazzling lights and astounding special effects will captivate audiences from all walks of life. The fun doesn't stop there—bring your family along and immerse yourselves in the PAssionArts Street, a testament to communal harmony and creativity. Can't make it? Well, you can catch the many events happening during Chingay@Heartlands until 9 March. If you’re a PAssionCard holder, you’ll be able to get 20% off! 2. Live out your childhood dreams of being a wizard at Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

Leave your mundane Muggle life behind and explore the wonders of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter right here in Singapore! With interactive attractions, atmospheric sights and sounds and your very own wand to use, this exhibition will blow you away. This experience will leave you breathless and is a one-time experience!

Admission: $51 (Adult) and $39 (Child)

3. Explore Chinatown and Attend River Hongbao

February has major festivities lined up and one of them is Chinese New Year! If you visit places such as Chinatown and Gardens By The Bay, you'll see the streets light up with festive lights and sculptures. Check out the 'famous' dragon feature in Chinatown or attend River Hongbao 2024 with a huge floating sculpture that will be in the middle of the lake!

4. Stay up to catch the Chinese New Year Drone Show at MBS

Imagine seeing dragons roam around the night sky, lighting up their surroundings with beautiful colours. This is what you can expect at the Legend of The Dragon Gate - Drone Show By The Bay. Look up to the sky at 9PM and enjoy two majestic dragons from Chinese folklore swimming across the sky. It's a beautiful area to take pictures and videos. Do note that there will be massive crowds at Marina Bay Sands. The whole Marina Bay area will be able to enjoy the show as the dragons made by the drones are huge! So just make sure you have a clear view of the sky and you're good to go!

5. Have fun at ARTBOX AVENUE

ARTBOX returns with more action and fun in January. Spanning over two weekends, you'll be treated to over 100 F&B stalls and 140 retail outlets. It boasts to be bigger than ever before and it certainly seems to be the case as there will be two new zones: Central Avenue and Open Plaza! Central Avenue will be an amazing sight with a three-storey display of neon lights and signs all held by shipping containers, giving it an industrial feel. Open Plaza will be holding a variety of activities and exhibitions that you can stroll through and take part in. There will even be Nintendo Switch games for you to unwind and relax.

6. Experience the magic of Singapore's First Sky Lantern Festival

I'm sure you've heard this event making its rounds on social media! Singapore will be having their very own Sky Lantern Festival, as seen in Thailand and Taiwan! The event will be held at Sentosa and will be a sight to behold as you see hundreds of lanterns being lifted up to the sky

Psst.. if you're concerned on the environmental impact, the lanterns will be fastened to the ground by a string to ensure they don't float away. Participants will be asked to bring their lanterns down after 5 - 10minutes. Oiled rice paper is also used, so they can be recycled after the event! You can get your tickets at the link here.
