SugaRush is the latest Muslim-owned ice cream store in Singapore that you'll love and they are having a promotion for pre-order deliveries too!
SugaRush, the latest halal ice cream store in Singapore
During Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), SugaRush is only delivering their gelato pints. They will be opening their retail store at Eatbox when it opens at Tekka Place this September! The best part is that they are currently having an Introductory Promo and all flavours are at $10.90 per pint (U.P. $13.90). Islandwide delivery is at $5.
They are also having their last pre-order for deliveries from 30 July to 2 August 2021 before they get busy with preparations to open their retail store. (Delivery will be between 7-9 August 2021)
With hot favourite flavours like Speculoos Biscoff, Milo Godzilla, Sea Salt Caramel and more, their ice cream pints will surely sweeten your day ?
Our review
We got the chance to try 4 of SugaRush's flavours - Hazelnut Chocolate Rocher, Strawberry Cheesecake, Belgian Dark Chocolate and Maple Syrup.
The Hazelnut Rocher was easily our favourite! If you love Ferrero Rocher chocolates, then you have to try this flavour. Every bite felt as if we were eating a frozen version of the famous chocolate ? And yes, in case you're wondering, there are chunks of chocolate in the ice cream too.
Dark chocolate lovers, we recommend that you try their Belgian Dark Chocolate! The texture was so smooth and velvety. Personally, I'm quite a fan of dark chocolate but I think the taste isn't too overwhelming even for those who don't like dark chocolate.
If chocolate isn't for you, then another favourite to try is their Strawberry Cheesecake. SugaRush's strawberry cheesecake might be a little on the milder side as compared to other places but that means you can have as much as you want without that cloying feeling.
As for those of you who love simpler flavours like vanilla or caramel, the Maple Syrup is a good alternative.
