1. Gardens by the Bay Light Show - Garden Rhapsody

The famous Gardens by the Bay light show is back! Garden Rhapsody starts on 8 Jan 2021 with two shows daily and you can expect an exciting line-up of music and light choreography. Besides music from great composers like Frédéric Chopin, you'll also be treated to songs from movies like The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio, The Phantom Of The Opera and more! Throughout the year, you can also look forward to 10 different shows.

2. Star Wars Identities - ArtScience Museum

Star Wars fans, you're in for a treat! The Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition is coming to ArtScience Museum in end-January and Singapore is the final stop of the exhibition’s world tour. Brace yourself for some 200 authentic props, models, artworks from the original Star Wars films. These are from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles. Some highlights include Darth Vader, R2-D2, life-sized models of Chewbacca and Yoda, Boba Fett and Stormtrooper costumes. 3. Light To Night Festival 2021

Planning a night out with that special someone or your group of friends? Good news, the Light To Night Festival will be making a return this January 2021! Happening from 22 to 31 Jan 2021 in the Civic District, the festival will be a hybrid of virtual and on-site events this year. But you can still watch the National Gallery, Victoria Theatre and Asian Civilisations Museum (and more!) come alive with light displays and projections.

There are 4 iconic light installations which have been designed by homegrown artists. Head over to E! Avenue Carpark linkbridge at Level 2 for a colourful dome called Shades of Self or enter a world of triangular neon lights at Somewhere Out There located at the Level 2 Courtyard.

13. Urang Banjar exhibition, Malay Heritage Centre

Ever wondered about the different sub-ethnic groups of Singapore's Malay community? Head over to the Malay Heritage Centre this January 2021 and learn more about the heritage and culture of the Banjarese, the smallest group that make up the Malay community in Singapore.
