Star Wars fans, your January is about to get even better! The Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition is coming to ArtScience Museum in end-January. Singapore is the final stop of the exhibition’s world tour.
Happening from 30 January to 13 June 2020, you can look forward to almost 200 authentic props, models, artworks from the original Star Wars films. These are from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles.
Some of the highlights that you can look forward to at Star Wars Identities are Darth Vader, R2-D2, life-sized models of Chewbacca and Yoda as well as original Boba Fett and Stormtrooper costumes. You can also expect to see the Millennium Falcon and Star Destroyer on display too!

If you’ve always been fascinated with what goes on behind the scenes of the Star Wars films, you won’t be disappointed here. Get to know more about the creative process involved in making the film, from early concept drawings to storyboarding, model-making and more! You'll also be able to learn more about puppetry and costume design. The films that are featured in the exhibition are the original trilogy (1977 to 1983), the prequels (1999 to 2005), the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008 to 2020) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).

The exhibition will also be interactive and allows visitors to find out more details about the characters and how their identity was shaped in the movies. Through the interactive quest that visitors go through, they will learn more about the Star Wars universe and get to discover their own unique identities in the world of Star Wars.
