1. What is Bicester Village, you ask?

Bicester Village is a designer lifestyle brands outlet shopping centre with over 160 top-name fashion labels offering savings of up to 60% on the recommended retail price of your favourite brands. What’s not to love?

2. How to get to Bicester Village

Car: The shopping centre is 60 minutes from London. Exit the M40 motorway at junction 9 and then follow the A41 for two miles to Bicester. There is ample free parking at the mall!

If you don’t own a vehicle, take advantage of the direct train connection from major cities like London to Bicester Village train station, which is a short walk away.

Train: Travel 46 minutes from London Marylebone to Bicester Village Station. Bicester Village station is around an 11-minute walk. Book your tickets with Chiltern Railways.

Bus: Travel via Stagecoach from central Oxford, departing every 15 minutes. Check out their website for timetables and fares.

Otherwise, you can also get the Bicester Village Shopping Trip Package from Klook where you can enjoy a flexible return ticket by train. You’ll also get a free VIP Pass to enjoy additional discounts at participating boutiques.

3. Before you visit join the membership programme, it’s free!

Be sure to sign up for their membership programme to enjoy even more discount off the already discounted prices. Bicester Village does not like to do sales since everything is already reduced but some boutiques offer great discounts, and others, not so much.

This extra, will simply give you more and is dependent on which boutiques are participating, but you can get roughly an extra 10-20% more discount. Look out for the ‘Private Sale’ sign they display in their shop window (it’s a small discreet sign!). You have to sign up the day before your visit to get your QR code.

4. What shops are in Bicester Village?

Bicester Village is home to over 160 boutiques and shops, so it’s really THE place to go if you love shopping. Big-name luxury brands from leading British and international fashion and lifestyle are found in the outdoor shopping mall.

Highlights include Fendi, Charlotte Tilbury, UGG, Manolo Blahnik, Mulberry, Smythson, Gucci, Max Mara, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, Burberry, Dior, Prada, Versace, Valentino, Orlebar Brown, Balenciaga, Anya Hindmarch and Vivienne Westwood.

Additionally, you can find Jil Sander, which offers lightweight jackets, spring-ready dresses, and colourful accessories, as well as 111SKIN’s innovative skincare and Benefit Cosmetics’ feel-good make-up, all of which are available at a discounted price all year long. There is also Soho Home, which is the members club Soho House interiors brand which reflects the club's decor style.

5. What brands are worth the purchase at Bicester Village?

The British brands, of course! Get heavily discounted items at Stella McCartney, Victoria Beckham, The White Company, Chloe, Mulberry and Maje. Big brands such as Valentino, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Dior and Prada are also worth the splurge here. It’s definitely way cheaper than back home!

Much of the product in these luxury stores feels almost like the current season (indeed some of it is) and the discounts range from good to downright ludicrous. Be warned though, some of the stock at these stores feels like it’s been around a while, so stick to the classics!

6. The best time to go to Bicester Village

We recommend going on weekdays and early mornings when the shopping mall is still empty and you can still shop in peace. While there is no official name for it, the mall would usually do massive discounts in January. So, if you’re heading to London this month, it might be worth it to check it out!
