“Hanoi flag tower is situated 20 walking distance from Huan Keen lake, I didn’t get entry to the site when I visited but it was visible from the street. There is a statue of Leningrad in the park across the road” “Hanoi Flag Tower (Cột cờ Hà Nội) is one of the city’s most iconic historical landmarks. Built in the early 19th century, it stands tall within the Vietnam Military History Museum. The tower’s well-preserved architecture, with its red brick structure and intricate details, reflects Vietnam’s rich history. Climbing to the top offers a panoramic view of Hanoi, making it a great spot for history lovers and photographers. The national flag proudly waving at the top adds to its significance. The surrounding museum provides deeper insights into Vietnam’s military past. Overall, Hanoi Flag Tower is a must-visit for those interested in history and culture. It’s a simple yet powerful symbol of Vietnam’s resilience and pride.”

“Nicely Placed. Good for Work out. Breakfast was a good Speead” “An elegant old style hotel with a little history. Nice to sit down in the cozy cafe with a lovely lake view. Very typical leisure and relaxing moment in Vietnam to appreciate life at a slow pace. The strudel has raisin and cream but could have been better if being heated for a better taste to go with the nice Vietnam black coffee.”

“We spent 5 nights in an Executive suite on the 9th floor. The room, although showing signs of age in its fittings, was spacious and comfortable. The bed was just right, and the"pillow menu" allowed us to choose a pillow that suited our preferences. The included breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. We particularly enjoyed the daily changing noodle soup. The staff was professional and courteous, and the room service personnel were helpful at all times. While the hotel is a bit out of the way from the usual tourist attractions, we found it easy to order Grab taxis at any time of the day.” “From check in to check out, excellent staff and service. The lounge offers a very useful second option for dealing with any issues, such as a late check out. The whole hotel is a calm oasis from the world outside. Outstanding comfort in the room, especially the bed.”

“I recently visited Namaste Hanoi and had a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a lovely blend of traditional and modern touches. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious – authentic Indian flavors, cooked to perfection. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried, from the appetizers to the main courses, was fantastic. The portion sizes were generous, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The prices were reasonable for the quality and experience provided. I highly recommend Namaste Hanoi to anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine in Hanoi!” “I visited Namaste Hanoi during my trip to Vietnam and had a great experience with the food. The restaurant offers an extensive menu with authentic Indian flavors, and the quality of the food was excellent. The spices and taste reminded me of home, making it a must-visit for those craving Indian cuisine in Hanoi. However, I found the prices to be on the higher side. While the food was delicious, I feel they could offer more budget-friendly options, especially for Indian travelers looking for affordable yet tasty meals. Overall, it's a great place for Indian food, but be prepared for a slightly premium price. Would recommend it if you're looking for authentic Indian flavors in Hanoi!”

“I tried Poke in SG already and I was impressed by the food there. This time I came and invited my friend to enjoy the meal with me. The food was good as I expected. But the attitude of staff here made us felt disappointed. We ordered 1 bowl, extra Poke with 2 bottles of juice. They may were annoyed because we ordered only one bowl, and asked too much. Isn’t it their job is to explain the menu for customers? Or they used to serve expensive food for foreigners and rich people only?” “A little bit hidden in a small alley, this restaurant is easily overlooked. But if you appreciate healthy food and a tiny terrace with lake view, you wouldn't want to miss this spot. Upon arrival, the welcoming staff will explain to you how the menu works. You order at the counter and take the food to a table by yourself. Though quite expensive (190k for the base bowl), the food itself was very fresh and a welcome change from the usual fast food in the city.”

“Definitely authentic Vietnamese food . Most Vietnamese restaurants in Okayama only offer Pho or Bhan Mi sandwiches but this place has a full blown authentic menu . When my wife and I went in most people there were foreigners probably Vietnamese and other Asian countries besides Japanese , always a good sign ! I’ll be back food was very very good and I can’t wait to experiment more with the huge menu .” “The restaurant is along the Okayama Shopping street. Its easy to find along the lane. I got noodle with fried spring roll and fried tofu. Both of them are really good and serving is generous. The food is served hot and used fresh the ingredients. The order may take while since they prep it from scratch. But really worth it. The staffs are prompt and accommodating. They are indeed a legit Vietnamese restaurant and can't be missed here im Okayama. Cảm ơn”

“Had our first dinner here while visiting Auckland for the first time and it did not disappoint. It’s a lovely atmosphere, very inviting and warm. It’s lively but still quiet enough for you to easily have a conversation with your table mates. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Be sure to ask them for recommendations. Plates are meant to be shared. The prawns are a must for a starter. They are a wonderful blend of taste and texture. Another stand out was the fish of the day - cooked to perfection and had dill on it! Everything we had was wonderful. It was a memorable meal. I would definitely return.” “Great food, good service (waitress knew exactly what to recommend and didn’t miss). A bit pricey but still worth the experience. We all shared the tiger prawns, paper rolls, beef bbq wraps(?), and then got the chicken thighs and beef skirt for mains. Also followed up with a doughnut, brownie, and egg Vietnamese coffees. Didn’t need to eat for a while after….”

“Our stay at the hotel in Hanoi was truly comfortable and enjoyable. Right from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel extremely welcome. They were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always checking in with us about our food preferences and making sure we were comfortable throughout the stay. One thing that really stood out was how helpful they were in guiding us about the local attractions. Their suggestions made it easier for us to explore the beautiful city of Hanoi without any hassle. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention — it had a wide and delicious spread, with plenty of vegetarian options, which was a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily rate the hotel a perfect 5 out of 5. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi!” “We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Anatole Hotel Hanoi. They made our stay in Hanoi very comfortable and provided extraordinary service. Emphasis on extraordinary. All the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautiful and clean. The facilities, pool, restaurant, and bar were all beyond our expectations. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Hanoi. Thank you to Ruby, Anna, Trung, Franco, the hotel porters/bell hoppers, and all the staff for making our stay memorable, relaxing and luxurious. We will be recommending Anatole Hotel Hanoi to our friend who visit Hanoi.”

“The most lovely host in Hanoi! Always friendly and helpful, even waited in the lobby until 3.30am for us to check in after our bus was delayed. Gave us discount and always had advice on the best places! The location is ideal, if slightly noisy in the mornings due to the market (but worth it to be immersed in the city as soon as you leave the hotel). The rooms are very clean and comfortable, can’t ask for more! No elevator which is common in the city - not a problem for us but bear it in mind if you can’t cope with steep steps or need disabled access.” “Our Experience with Tien and the hotel was great! So great we came back two times! Great energy, super kind and helps you every time with whatever you need. We relied on him for many tours and many tips, and he never let us down! Plus it is a very central area but very calm at night, there are nice local restaurants around and it's walking distance from pretty much every attraction in Hanoi! The rooms are clean and quite big and with private bathroom and a/c. for whatever you need you just need to ask at the reception anytime. Great value for money!”

“Great Hospitality and Good value. For the price, it offers excellent value for money, perfect for budget travelers. It’s conveniently located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, making it easy to explore popular attractions, street food spots, and local shops on foot.” “Some staff are good, and the entire hostel, for the price paid seemingly goes above and beyond. The place is very small and simple with one 2nd and 3rd floor dormitory with ensuites. Each bed has a built-in table, electrical outlet and a fan. There are two AC units in each and a kettle and a large table for socialising, eating and working. The place is staffed from the morning until 00:00ish. The location is central and water can be purchased at reception. Additionally should you wish you can move or utilise the facilities of EcoStay 2 which is a 5 minute walk away. Very well managed for the most part indeed, and the WiFi is strong. I think, however, that the other staff are slacking substantially and seem to forget that a dorm is for sleeping, hence why most people book. I wouldn't stay again as the sleep quality is super poor and there is absolutely no real security at all as all the doors are open throughout the night (building door included) so anyone can enter without even paying and take a bed (and it happened often) or no doubt on some past and future occasion, some people's belongings.”

“This is my second time visiting Hanoi this year, but my first time staying at Hanoi Flora Hotel—and I couldn’t have made a better choice! The location in the Old Quarter is perfect—close to all the key spots but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The staff were so welcoming and made me feel at home right away. Even though I didn’t book any activities this time, they offered plenty of great suggestions and were always ready to assist. Their warmth and attentiveness really stood out. The room was cozy, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. While I don’t always have breakfast, I tried it once, and it was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and with a good variety of options. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it, and I know for sure that I’ll be staying here again the next time I’m in Hanoi. Hanoi Flora Hotel has definitely become my go-to place in the city. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Hanoi! ??♥️” “Great location and really friendly front desk! We arrived Hanoi early and luckily we got an early check in. Those few hours we had a good rest and saved the rest of our day! Near the center of the old town but in a relative quiet alley, got lots of foods just nearby but still can get good rest.”
