MPRW+RPP, Nong Prue, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan 10540, Thailand
Bangkok is an excellent airport, especially when it comes to service. The staff are very polite and friendly, which made the experience pleasant. Although it felt a little crowded, the airport is still really beautiful. The service and arrangements are smooth, easy, and comfortable. We didn’t spend much time there, but overall, it left a very good impression. A well-managed and impressive airport!
Definitely one of the better airports in South East Asia, considering the massive number of tourists passing through every day. It has plenty of eateries and shops to cater to those who like shopping and whiling their time at cafés. Only issue is the availability of toilets, which can be quite far apart, compared to some other international airports. However, the toilets are fairly clean and spacious. Would be more convenient if there were more available.
This is an outstanding airport. It is newly renovated in some areas and there are many self service kiosks for getting boarding passes and scanning passports. It is quite busy and you should definitely arrive early for your flights. The customer service here is also outstanding. There is an abundance of eateries as well if you get hungry prior to or following a flight.
Suvarnabhumi Airport – A Familiar Place with a Fresh New Experience at SAT-1 I’ve been through Suvarnabhumi Airport many times over the years — for both arrivals and departures — but this was my first time departing from the new SAT-1 satellite terminal, and it truly felt like a new chapter for the airport. While the main terminal remains busy and energetic as always, SAT-1 is calm, modern, and incredibly spacious. The entire space is well-designed, with high ceilings, lots of natural light, and plenty of seating areas that make waiting comfortable and stress-free. The transfer from the main terminal to SAT-1 is smooth — just a quick 3-minute automated train ride that runs frequently. Even with luggage, the process was easy and clearly signposted. Though shopping and dining options at SAT-1 are still quite limited, the terminal itself is clean, peaceful, and full of potential. You can sense it’s still new and developing, but already impressive. If you're flying internationally from Suvarnabhumi and your flight departs from SAT-1, you're in for a quiet, relaxing airport experience — a real contrast to the usual airport rush.
Vibrant, modern, and full of energy, the airport offers a delightful experience for travelers. With an impressive range of international and local brands, shopping becomes a pleasure. The spacious layout and clear signage make navigation easy, creating a relaxed atmosphere before boarding. Truly a world-class travel hub.
