Chaloem Phrakiat Ratchakan Thi 9 Rd, เเขวง หนองบอน Prawet, Bangkok 10250, Thailand
Nice public park for relaxing and exercising. Spending your times to walk around the park as good idea. People come here with family in the afternoon for enjoying at beside the lake. The atmosphere is so great and beautiful with trees, flowers, fountain, nice seats, green grass, and so on.
Visited while flower festival was on. We were there for over 2 hours but we could have easily of spent the whole day there. Because of the festival there were so many market stalls of foods, clothes, plants….. Flowers and gardens were beautiful with lots of themed areas. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy. You can take a swan pedalo out on the water but it was too hot to use up energy doing that!!! Plenty of places to get refreshments. Plenty of parking. Little trains to take you around as-well(don’t know if that’s usually there or just because of the festival and the amount of people visiting) Great day out!
A Thai friend of mine recommended visiting a park, and I decided to take their advice and go there to relax. It turned out to be the right decision. The park perfectly met my expectations of what a park should be: a quiet outdoor space with lush green fields and beautiful floral decorations. It truly touched my heart. I was also delighted to see a replica of a traditional Chinese village house and a pavilion showcasing the achievements of King Rama IX. Visiting the park was a wonderful experience. I am grateful to those who maintain its beauty, providing a haven for people like me to find relief from the stresses of life.
This park is still lovely and calm and full of interesting plant displays! There also seemed to be a lot of group activities going around when we went in the morning. I haven't been back to this park since my school day so I'm very happy to see this park still looks good and has many visitors. We had a walk around the park seeing all the domes of different plants display. The workout park next to the kid playground is very good and the bathroom right next to it! Plenty of car parking spots.
Suan Laung Rama 9 is a must visit public park, and recommended than other parks. Beautiful, peaceful, quiet and many areas to explore and do the activities (i.e. Chinese garden, Botanic garden, Ferns and Orchids Greenhouse, Geodesic Dome and the Pavilion in the center of the Lotus Pond and duck boats, etc) I entered Gate 6. The entrance fee is just 10 Baht and opening hours is 5am - 7pm. You can visit there in the morning, and go shopping at Seacon Square in the evening.
