Jummah mosque in the heart of fort. During jummah times, gets busy so good to be there early. Parking roadside. Not sure about ladies prayer facility.

This is one of the two mosques you can use to Pray Salath when you visit Colombo Fort. The other is the prayer room on the top of the MICH (Moors Islamic Cultural House) building nearby. Wish there were more mosques or prayer rooms available nearby for office workers such as in the World Trade Center.

We were looking to pray jamak -zohor n asar. Someone kind showed us the way to reach this masjid. Relatively clean. The caretaker greeted us with a smile and we were brought upstairs to the women section. Located near the famous Ministry of Crab and Ceylon Club House it’s pretty easy to find if you’re nearby and needing a place to solat.
