I had lunch at this buffet recently and wow—really good good food all around! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, but I have to give a special shoutout to the Japanese section. That area was easily the highlight for me. They had a great selection of sushi, sashimi, and even some freshly made tempura. The quality was impressive for a buffet—fresh cuts, great flavor, and beautifully presented. Honestly, I kept going back for more from that section. You can tell they put effort into making it feel like a mini Japanese dining experience. Overall, the whole buffet was worth it, but if you’re a fan of Japanese food, this place is going to win you over. I’ll definitely be back! We were a group of 15 adults and Amaya was really helpful for us as well.

We spent our vacation at the Kingsbury Hotel's lunch buffet. Our previous experience there was also a very good one. This restaurant is a beautiful place built for dining with a very beautiful reception and large groups. It was good value for money and had a variety of salads, buns, soups, mains and desserts. Also, a large selection of local, Indian, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine was served. Of particular note are their ice cream, which comes in 8 varieties, and the ice cream kottu and roll ice creams they make on the spot. Also, all their desserts were very delicious. Their main course, the mutton biryani, was the best dish that impressed us the most. The taste of all the food we ate was of the highest standard, and the quality, orderliness, and cleanliness of the food were also of the highest standard. The service of the staff and chefs at Harbour Court should also be appreciated. Their service was at a very high level, courteous, efficient and skilled. We specialy special thanks mr.suraj ( restaurant Captain ) Eranga/Viraj/Navanjana and chef Danushka Chef Mera and Chef Madara .

Recently visited The Kingsbury (Harbour court) in Colombo for their lunch buffet, and it was a pleasant dining experience overall. The restaurant had a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere, with attentive staff and a clean, well-arranged buffet layout that gave a good first impression. The selection of dishes was decent, though not as extensive as I expected from a high-end buffet. There was a fair mix of Sri Lankan and international options, but I felt there could have been more variety, especially in the main course section. In terms of taste, the meals were generally good, but I did notice that some of the seafood items, particularly the prawns and fish, had a slightly raw taste and salty than usual, which took away from the enjoyment. It may have been a matter of personal preference or preparation style, but it stood out compared to the rest of the meal. Other dishes like the rice, curries, salads, and desserts were satisfying, and the presentation of food was impressive. Despite a few shortcomings, it was still a decent buffet experience overall.

I recently had my birthday dinner at this restaurant located within the Kingsbury hotel. My husband surprised me with a cake at the dinner. He had requested a birthday cake from the staff and they were incredibly attentive and brought it to the table just in time for the celebration. They had arranged it quickly with a short notice. I’ve visited this restaurant a few times with my parents also and they always have a wonderful time. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is simply lovely. They have many varieties of food in the buffet. I highly recommend this place.
