10 Best Kid-Friendly Public Swimming Pools In Singapore

Singapore has only two seasons: sun and more sun (yes, it's still hot even when it's raining!), which explains why Singapore's public pools are a favourite thing to do for families! It's affordable (entry fees are between $0.50 and $1.70), and promises endless splashing good fun with their water slides, wave pools and more ? We've rounded up some of the best public playgrounds with cool water features for you and your kids to check out (plus halal food nearby, once those hunger pangs hit! ?)

West

1.  Jurong West Swimming Complex

While it’s smaller than its sister Jurong East (where most attractions are currently temporarily closed), it’s still big on fun! There’s a kids’ pool with play structures and an adrenaline-fuelled, three-storey long winding blue waterslide, a lazy river, plus a Jacuzzi and two 50-metre pools (one indoors). Once you’re done, have a nice meal at any of these 13 halal food spots! ?

2. Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex

Another underrated public pool you should check out is Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex. It's got elements of every great water play park - lazy river for you to float and simply relax under the sun, big waves in the wave pool and a water playground your kids will get all hyped up over! 3. Senja-Cashew Swimming Complex

Located amongst the heartland HDBs in Bukit Panjang, the Senja-Cashew Community Club is a hidden gem Westies should know! While your kids let their imagination run wild at the kiddie pool complete with a thrilling playground, you can check out their infinity pool, which even has a jacuzzi in it! Hungry? Take a 4 min-walk to Bukit Panjang Plaza and enjoy a variety of halal food such as Astons by Andes, McDonald's and more!  ?

4. Woodlands Swimming Complex

You might think the slide structure at Woodlands Swimming Complex look simple, but you can be rest assured that your kids will still be begging for more time to play at the pool. For the adults, you can check out the lap pools nearby as well! This swimming pool is conveniently located near Causeway Point, so you can just pop over to the mall for some chow afterwards. Otherwise, you can also enjoy your meals at the on-site cafe, or stay in the premises and enjoy food at the halal-certified on-site cafe, Citrus by the Pool!)  ?

5. BONUS: Swimming Pool at SAFRA Yishun

Bring your little pirates to this fun pirate-themed water area at SAFRA Yishun! Let your kids play pretend as a pirate on with slides out of treasure chest box, pirate hat and ship. Don't forget to check out the massive rock structure by the rock climbing wall, which features built-in slides and a mini waterfall right in the middle. The F&B options nearby are amazing too, like Springleaf Prata Place, Eatzi Steakhouse & Bistro and more!  ? You do not have to be a SAFRA member to enjoy the facilities, however you do need to pay to enter.

6. Sengkang Swimming Complex

8 multi-coloured slides?! No wonder Sengkang Swimming Complex is one of the most popular swimming pools in Singapore on a hot weekend! The slides are all of varying levels of thrill, but will promise a unforgettable, fun experience nonetheless. There’s a minimum height requirement of 1.20m, however, but don't worry, your little ones will love the splash-and-slide area complete with water soakers. There’s a Jacuzzi, an indoor sheltered pool and competition pool for training on site too! Sengkang Swimming Complex is located in Sengkang Sports Centre, which also houses multiple halal food options such as McDonald's, Pastamania, O'MyKampong and Lepak One Corner by Yassin Kampung! ?

7. Splash @ Kidz Amaze, SAFRA Punggol

Spanning 23,000sq. ft. and boasting 5 slides and 8 play decks, this fun-packed water playground has more than enough to entertain both children and parents alike. The slides are the highlight, featuring swirling tunnels and even multi-lane slides for everyone to slide down together. While older kids can have fun at the main 3-storey play area with larger slides and climbing structures, the little toddlers will have an equally exciting time in the toddler zone’s shallow wading pool. There are also 2 tunnel slides for kids below 1.2m! ? There's also a few halal food options for you such as Heavenly Wang, Wing Zone, and of course the family favourite McDonald's!

8. Tampines Swimming Complex

Located on level 6 of Our Tampines Hub, your kids will love the cute garden-themed kids wading pool (0.3 metres deep) that comes with with water fountains, water play tables, water spray guns and a mini waterfall! Still not fun enough? There's six swimming pools at your perusal, and a jacuzzi as well! You won't have to worry about going hungry - Our Tampines Hub has endless halal food options such as Burger King, Old Chang Kee Cafe, a food court, and more! ?

9. Pasir Ris Swimming Complex

This complex is perfect for all ages and cater to every type of swimmer out there - a toddler pool, a wading pool, another pool for learners, two waterslides for thrill seekers, a water playground for kids to splash around in, a competition pool and a Jacuzzi! Fun fact: did you know that there’s a rainwater harvesting system to water surrounding greenery and the vertical garden? ? If you're hungry, you can simply pop by White Sands Mall, or Downtown East, and check out the array of halal food options on offer!

10. BONUS: Splash N Surf Sports Hub

We know this isn't a public pool per se, but we can't help not to add this spot! Kallang Wave Mall is officially the coolest mall - there's a water park perched on top of it. Splash N Surf truly has something for all ages - a water play area for kids and a lazy pool for all adults to laze in!  ?
