The surrounding museum provides deeper insights into Vietnam’s military past. Overall, Hanoi Flag Tower is a must-visit for those interested in history and culture. One of the impressive and known landmarks in Hanoi. However, there were no other noteworthy exhibits or places to visit on this section besides the tower. Think of it as a rest stop.

The flagtower is within the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. When I visited on 3 June, there were no one over there. Great place to take photos for social media postings. There is a small cafe beside the flagtower, but seems to be no one there as well.
