Really, really enjoyed this place, but mainly because of all of the people that were dressed up. I’m not sure if this was normal but strongly suspect it was because of International Womens Day (March 8/2025). The compound was extensive and there were one of two buildings with exhibits. Lots of grounds to view - a few gardens (though nothing in bloom at the time we visited). There are large grassed areas, places to sit, a bit of a children’s play area and even a small coffee shop and a photo shop if you’d like to dress up in traditional garb. We met lots of friendly faces and had a lot of fun on what turned out to be a very special and colourful day.

Student ticket price is 50,000 VND Adult ticket price is 100,000 VND This place is too large to walk so it took me 4 hours to explore the whole place. However, this trip gave me a lot of knowledge about the history, culture and people of Vietnam. The most impressive thing is the water puppet show performed here, it is really funny. ??? In addition, besides Thang Long Imperial Citadel, this place also organizes many interesting music and culinary events that attract tourists such as Thai festival.

It displays a lot of ancient items and stories. There are sufficient number of visitors when I visited on 3 June. There is also a bunker that shows the historical map of Vietnam. There is sufficient aircon to cool yourself down. There is also a small temple of 2 storeys that has narrow walkway.
