Often neglected shop because it's isolated. However, if you do find it it's a hidden gem. Blown away by the variety of music boxes. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also offer free gift wrapping for your purchase. Purchase above Y5000 is tax free.

Got a beautiful music box here. Overall nuance of the shop is very relaxing, The shopkeeper is very nice person, and if you bought music boxes for gift, she will wrapped it up free of charge. Apparently in off-season only open at Saturday and Sunday. The shop itself is located at the end of the kimono forest in randen line, so if you went to arashiyama by randen line, going to this shop is just like getting to a checkpoint after adventuring in kimono forest

A very cute and sweet shop. Lots of Japan made products. Very cute glassware and accessories as well. A nice place to get some unique souvenirs.

I bumped into this place on the way to the train station and ended up buying a lot. You must visit this place when going to Arashiyama.
