“Dined there Wednesday afternoon. I was solo and was seated right away. Their halal menu is extensive. While I wanted to try everything, I settled for two items. I asked if two dishes were enough and was told it would be sufficient. The dishes were so flavorful. One of the dishes was salad, and it was made fresh because roasted chili was still warm!! I would definitely return here when I am in town, and hopefully I will come back with more people so I can try other dishes!!” “PhrigKiao is an absolute gem! This Thai halal restaurant serves some of the most delicious food we had in Bangkok. We tried the beef and yellow crab curry, and both were incredibly flavorful—rich, fragrant, and perfectly spiced. The crab curry, in particular, was a standout, with generous chunks of crab in a creamy, aromatic sauce. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was great. Whether you're looking for authentic Thai flavors or a fantastic halal dining option, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back for more!”

“Very sad to write a negative review with a 1 star rating but if I could give it zero, it is more deserving. The neighborhood is kinda shady, the way to the mosque is worse than that. A little alleyway where it smells horrendous followed by being greeted by women without teeth who are eating stuff that smells even worse than the smell in the air. Dirt everywhere, being yelled at by a man for not taking off my shoes at the entrance while the stairs were super dirty. The prayer hall is literally a classroom with no carpet and doesn’t look clean at all. Wudu area where flies greet you and the smell of pee is saying hello to your nose. Qur’ans in the worst condition, Islamic books being piled up like it has no value. Imam in the men section ironing his clothes… I left speechless, this place needs a lot of improvement before we can call it a mosque.” “The access is quite winding but there are signposts that will guide you through. Wudhu area is clean and the prayer hall is spacious and comfortable.”

“bangkok spa is still one of the spas that i prefer in JB. convenient as they’ve a driver to send and pick you up from city square or KSL. & they’re always so quick in responds to your queries before you book. although we booked for a private room for a massage with toilet, we wished that it was a WC bowl instead of needing to squat as after massage usually our feet’s would be oily.” “Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Booked a 3:30 PM body massage in the morning and arrived slightly early at 3:20 PM. I noticed nearly 20 people waiting around, which seemed odd, but I didn’t think much of it at the time. Kept checking in with the staff about our turn, but they kept giving different excuses. After waiting 40 minutes, we were finally asked to make payment and were shown to our room—only to wait another 15 minutes before the massage actually began. The session eventually started at 4:20 PM, and instead of the full hour, it ended at 5:15 PM, cutting it short by 5 minutes. This will be my first and last visit. Avoid this place unless you have plenty of time to waste. Seems like they overbook and drag out waiting times just to fit in as many customers as possible.”

“This hotel offers a minimalist and clean concept, perfect for those seeking a private experience. It’s never crowded, making it probably the best place in Bangkok for privacy. The staff is exceptionally well-trained, providing a top-notch hospitality experience. Breakfast is simple, excellent, and health-focused. While the options are limited, that’s the idea – everything is healthy and exactly what you need to maintain a balanced diet. The spa was excellent, but there are a couple of things to mention: the music isn’t consistent, and sometimes rhythmic tunes disrupt the meditation vibe. On my second visit also, it was very cold, and I left feeling almost frozen. The hotel is ultra-modern. You can manage everything from a tablet – ordering food without making a phone call, for example. It’s the first time I’ve seen this anywhere in the world, and I’ve stayed in many top-tier hotels globally. The fitness room is small but sufficient for basic needs. I didn’t visit the bar or the Michelin-starred restaurant because I didn't have time (I wished to however), but the regular restaurant is excellent. Lastly, when heading to the mall, I highly recommend taking the boat provided by the hotel instead of a car – the experience is stunning.” “This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were all so friendly and so accommodating. I was always greeted with a smile. My massage with Annie was incredible. She was so kind and I have honestly never felt so amazing. I cannot say enough nice words about this hotel and the staff.”

“Super empty. I couldn't find any shop opened at all. The cafeteria was pretty much dead too - only a food stall and a drink corner were opened. Very sad to see a huge amount of investment spent to build a ghost town.” “I went here primarily for the Siam Amazing Waterpark and didn't expect this place to exist. It's a really nice space with replicas of some iconic Bangkok sites like the Giant Swing and Democracy Monument. There is an area called Chinatown with old Chinese inspired architecture. They also have a big food hall with dinosaur statues. It's sort of like a theme park for Bangkok. It was not very busy and felt a bit empty, so I'm not sure when the best time to come is. I visited on 28 Dec (Thurs). I think this place has huge potential to be amazing. Obviously a lot of money and effort has been invested here and it looks great. I hope more people will visit more often to create the vibrant atmosphere it needs. Entry to this area is free, the ticket booth is for Siam Amazing Park.”

“The employees were friendly and understanding. We arrived late and were still welcomed by smiling faces, which was massively appreciated. The garden filled with plants and birds singing was a nice getaway from the city. Especially enjoyable during the free breakfast you are offered. In the room there are lockers for your belongings. As you enter the building you are also able to get all of the needed information about your stay in Bangkok, as there is a map of the most beloved places of people who stayed in the hostel. It came in handy, so we tried out a restaurant and the meal was really enjoyable.” “Amazing hostel set in a quiet but amazing area. 10 minute walk to the On Nut BTS station, Lotus mall and food court and also a night market. We had a double room with private bathroom, the bed was large and slightly firm and the pillows were comfy. The bathroom was very clean. The hostel offers free breakfast and coffee, and also sells good espresso! Special mention to Joy, she really was a joy, such a lovely lady. Would say this was one of the best stays we have had in Bangkok.”

“This is a mini mall with small restaurants, a 7-11, boutiques, a florist, few cafes, a bakery, and bank branches intended for hospital staff and visitors. However, many nearby residents also sometimes come here to eat, relax, or run errands at the banks. The building is connected to nearby the central hospital department on the 2nd floor. The place has security, is air conditioned, and well maintained. However, the place needs to do something about the HUGE automatic sliding doors because they let out all the cool air on the first floor.” “Its a small but packed with multiple restaurants and businesses at this sites. Many delicious restaurants from multiple cruises to choose. My personal favorite has to be the Lebanese/Indian restaurant at the highest level. Due to the complex being part of the hospital, it is very clean and well maintained”

“We had a pleasant stay at this hotel! Ray at the front desk was incredibly helpful and facilitated early check in so we could put our bags down and freshen up. They already had a room ready as we visited out of peak season, so this might not always be an option. The location is incredibly convenient as it's just around a 2-minute walk away from an Airport Rail Link station that you can use to get to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Place is around 10 or so minutes away from Phaya Thai BTS station. You can also walk all the way down to the Siam area from the hotel. We never tried the restaurant and bar outside of the breakfast buffets, but the food was fine. Options change a bit every morning, and they offer both local and western food. Room & amenities were all great. They even provide bath bombs for the tub if your room has one, but only if you ask for it. Personally, I recommend buying the ones from the nearby 7/11 as those were better. Finally, there are a lot of food stalls at the wide alley literally just beside the hotel if you're looking for some affordable local meals.” “Really enjoyed our 4 nights at Akara! Loukgolf and her team is super helpful and service is great. thankful that the room is available for early check in! Convenient to get to from airport, direct train and just a couple stops away. Very clean room and really aesthetics vibe! 5 mins walk from BTS. 24 hours gym! Pool is pretty small but good view at night :) our room was facing highway but thankfully the bathroom door helped with the soundproof. It was also just beside the lift so could hear others- the room door can improve in the soundproofing.”

“Visited on a Monday evening from around 6-10. To start with there weren’t many street food vendors, but there were more later, from about 8 onwards. Not sure if this is the case every night, but would recommend coming later if so! Lovely vibe and nice lanterns everywhere.” “Chinatown Bangkok is a sensory feast – vibrant, bustling, and packed with amazing street food. From grilled seafood to dim sum and the famous Chinese herbal drinks, every corner offers something delicious. The energy at night is incredible, with neon signs lighting up the streets and locals and tourists alike filling the sidewalks. It’s also a great place to shop for gold, traditional herbs, and souvenirs. Be prepared for the crowd, but that’s part of the charm! A must-visit spot for food lovers and culture seekers when in Bangkok.”

“The receptionists were really nice and knowledgeable about the area. The rooftop view was AMAZING. You can also meet some other hotel guests there and talk with the stunning view. The rooms were small but clean and the bathrooms were also clean. The AC was slightly noisy but bearable and the walls a bit thin. But it’s ok because we became friends with our room neighbor, the experience was great, you can go out and have a local meal for cheap near the flower market. Or go for a run near the temples. The experience was overall amazing.” “Love this hostel so much! Amazing staff and amazing rooftop. But to me, the best part is the location, it’s just walking distance to all the major temples and palace, it’s quite near to Khaosan road for the parties but far enough that it’s calm in the area. Would come back :)”
